Taking her first dance
class at age five, Cindy began learning the many styles of dance. Born and
raised in Sanford, Florida, Cindy was a member of a local dance company
that was very devoted to their community. As a child, Cindy was cast in
a local television series titled “Kid’s Corner”, where
she performed in many local productions, including the musical “The
Wizard of Oz”. Continuing to develop as a young dancer, Cindy performed
in special events and parades for many theme parks, including Walt Disney
World’s traditional Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s
parades. By age twelve, Cindy was cast as an extra in various movies, including
“Matinee” and “Passenger 57”. Through the years,
Cindy has performed in productions, including the Southern Ballet Theatre's
“The Nutcracker” under the direction of Russell Sultzbach, Dick
Clark’s “Rockin’ New Year’s Eve”, the Little
Mermaid premier “Under the Sea” featuring Betty White, the annual
Coca-Cola Gala at MGM Studios, and many more. At the young age of fifteen,
Cindy began teaching and choreographing at a local studio, as well as for
the nationally ranked, Seminole High School Dazzler Dance Team and Destiny
Show Choir, in Sanford, Florida. Cindy soon realized that not only dancing,
but sharing her love for dance with others, was her true passion. After
winning numerous National Championships, and placing in a variety of pageants
statewide, Cindy continued to perform in her community at the local colleges,
Sanford Christmas Parades, and participate in Disney's Annual Candlelight
Processional throughout her high school years. At seventeen, Cindy was offered
an instructional position for Universal Dance Association (UDA), based out
of Memphis, Tennessee. Cindy began traveling the Eastern U.S. as a Lead
Instructor for high school and college dance camps for 3 seasons, all the
while, continuing to give back to her community by teaching classes and
choreographing award winning routines throughout the years. Now, with a
lifetime of love and support from Cindy's Family and Friends, she is sharing
her dreams and passion with you!
